The One Health Hackathon (OHH) is a hackathon-style event run by high school students in Tanzania and Canada, open to youth from around the world. Teams will be assigned to one of 4 diseases (influenza, malaria, COVID-19, or Ebola), for which they will have 4 days to come up with an action plan based on One Health principles. Solutions can come in whatever form they want, including policy platforms, business pitches, tech prototypes, and more; we're open to students of all backgrounds!
Teams will be guided by leading global health experts, through one-on-one feedback sessions and a highly distinguished lecture series (which will also be open to the public). We have 12 renowned mentors/speakers participating:
