The increase in bacterial resistance to antimicrobials presents serious consequences and new challenges for public health; animal welfare, food safety, and environmental health. The objective of the congress is to bring together researchers linked to human, veterinary and environmental health, to discuss issues related to the epidemiology of antibiotic resistance with a ONE HEALTH approach.

Objective: The objective of the workshop would be to train students from diverse disciplines to cooperatively analyze complex One Health problems and devise implementable solutions that address health issues in the context of sustainable economic benefits. In this summer school, we´ll address the emergence and re-emergence of infectious diseases, vectors impact and antimicrobial resistance as a consequence of human activities.
