Objectives: To bring together Young Professionals, Veterinary and Medical Experts, Environmentalist, Food Technicians, Climate Activists, Enthusiastic Students on the same platform to discuss about one health issues and its level of implementation across the globe. Result: i. Strengthen linkages and collaboration between agricultural related organizations. ii. Social Media Awareness on youths on one health importance. The official Celebration of World One Health Day in Universities is based on the strategy of instilling in the Students Fund there the creation of Club One Health of students to weave collaboration and cooperation between different disciplines and different areas of their future Professional practice. This year the celebration of One Health Day in a holistic, multisectoral and multidisciplinary approach, will be organized at the University Assane SECK of Ziguinchor.

Bomet county will mark the fifth international one health day with the rest of the world and create awareness on the achieved outcomes of the approach in the county. Majorly the one health approach has been applied in addressing shared health threats like zoonoses in the county.

Through one health Technical Working Group, the county was able to conduct mass vaccination of dogs and cats against rabies in the month of September.
