Reunião científica promovida pela Faculdade de medicina, Laboratório do Movimento (UFMG) para acadêmicos dos cursos de graduação em medicina, fisioterapia, educação física, etc., com objetivo de apresentar e discutir o uso da One Health nas escolas públicas, além de apresentar a tecnologia educativa desenvolvida para jovens adolescentes que trata da Covid-19 e atividade física em uma abordagem one health, inserção no currículo escolar a abordagem de doenças zoonóticas, evento aberto ao público geral com transmissão nas redes sociais.

The Exploring One Health series was an event for undergraduate and graduate students to learn about One Health and its presence and use in the real world. This series consisted of 5 learning modules in which students were introduced to the concept of One Health by professionals of varying backgrounds. The students were then given the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of One Health and where it is present around them. Exploring One Health also offered students the chance to learn One Health applications to research and emergency response situations through case studies.

There is an emerging need for a better understanding of what One Health is all about. To meet this need, on Wednesday, June 30, the One Health Commission, in partnership with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, The Wilson Center, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History, launched the first in a series of One Health in the U.S. webinars — ‘Part 1 - One Health 101: What is All the Fuss?’
