The University´s One Health Policy proposal recognizes that its spaces and territories must promote human, animal, plant and environmental health. Such recognition has direct and indirect implications on how the university's spaces and assets are occupied, used and managed, as well as on the planning and execution of academic activities. Considering that it is a pioneering initiative on the national scene, UFRPE opens channels of dialogue with - and invites - everyone who can/want to contribute to these institutional development efforts.

During the month of november, actions were developed in vulnerable communities, such as one called Serrote Liso, where about 68 families live, in very precarious conditions. Part of the residents earn their income from collecting materials at the city dump, which is located in the nearby. In the community, there is no electricity, treated water, or basic sanitation. Our work began with interviews aimed at residents, thus tracing a brief diagnosis of the situation, which allowed us to characterize and identify the most relevant aspects of the territory.

Every year the FMVZ (Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México -UNAM) organizes an event in favor of Health for the entire community of our Faculty, for which we invite you to participate in the 2022 Health Day that will take place from November 3 to 5 We will have the Health Hall, where several institutions will visit us to provide a service for the benefit of the FMVZ community, from 10am to 2pm, which will be located in the FMVZ Lobby, you will find the following modules: IMSS vaccination module (influenza vaccine, dewormer, etc.)
