The Women for One Health (WfOH) Network is an interconnected community of One Health (OH) professionals advancing the participation of women and under-served groups in One Health research, policy, and practice to enhance gender equity, diversity, and inclusivity. The idea of the network was sparked by the initiative of a few female One Health advocates who met in November 2022 at the World One Health Congress in Singapore and discussed the importance of gender-balanced representation in One Health events.

Le One Health Run 2024, 7ème célébration nationale de la Journée Une Seule Santé en Côte d’Ivoire, est une série d'activités annuelle qui s’inscrit dans le cadre de la Journée Une Seule Santé.

Prévue du 4 au 8 novembre 2024. Cet événement, portant sur le thème “Zoonoses et biodiversité : Les défis pour notre environnement et notre santé”, vise à sensibiliser aux interactions entre la santé humaine, animale et environnementale. Plusieurs villes, dont Abidjan, Bouaké, Man et Bouna, accueilleront les participants.

Brucella is rapid growing bacterial infection claiming recurrent fevers in humans, animals , increasing household expenses on medication of people and animals that abort and spoiling the future progeny generation of kids born top positive women with brucella since it has a cerebral impact on brain development & morphology thence congenital anomalies. Need for serological brucella tests needs to be done in livestock since they are the source for infection to humans through various body entrance points when delt with. Remedy: 1. Test and slaughter.
