The School of Health Sciences at UVM-cumbres it’s a multidisciplinary faculty that works to promote ONE HEALTH concepts, we have 6 academic programs (Medicine, Veterinary, Nutrition, Psychology, Physiotherapy and Biochemical pharmatechnology).

The Centre for Public Health and Zoonoses (CPHAZ) is excited to host their 3rd annual ONE HEALTH POSTER DAY on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 from 10am – 3pm in the Summerlee Science Complex, University of Guelph. In celebration of Global One Health Day (November 3rd), CPHAZ is looking to highlight examples of research, service and teaching that link human, animal and ecosystem health happening on the University of Guelph campus or with our collaborators.

A panel of WesternU faculty involved in One Health on local or global scale will be sharing their experiences with WesternU professional medical/veterinary/health science students and faculty during a 1.5hr event on Friday afternoon (Nov 2nd). Each presenter will have 10+5min time to present. At the end, a panel discussion/QA session will conclude the event. The OHD event will be video recorded as an educational activity for all 1st or 2nd yr university students as a part of our Interprofessional Education Class (IPE). The event will be live streamed to WesternU COMP Oregon Campus.
