On November 4, 2019, Khazar University will be conducting its 3rd symposium dedicated to World One Health Day with the participation of scholars, health professionals, researchers, and students. The main aim of the symposium is to promote understanding of the importance of One Health, exchange data and knowledge to recognize and improve human, animal and ecosystem health issues in Azerbaijan and around the globe. The event is open to the public.

Khazar University will organize a World One Health Day event on October 22, 2024, with staff members, researchers, and students from the Department of Life Sciences participating actively. As part of the program, students will visit the “Citrus Valley” orchard in Lankaran to obtain firsthand knowledge of biodiversity. The event will emphasize the value of biodiversity, the conservation of local, wild, and introduced species, and the impact of climate change and anthropogenic factors on such ecosystems.
