One Health Day: Launch of the VETS UNITED 'One Health, One Welfare' Teaching Module

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of One Health Day, the WTS VETS UNITED Programme is launching its 16th teaching module, “One Health, One Welfare”. Developed by an expert and peer-reviewed by specialists from around the world, the module explores the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health and welfare. To mark the launch, the African and Latin American Universities Networks for Animal Welfare will hold online seminars in English and Spanish on 3 November 2026, introducing the module and highlighting its practical application in veterinary education and beyond. Participants will learn how the One Health approach addresses global challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration. Attendance is free, and the teaching module will be also available for free download. Please find attached the leaflets for the two online seminars, as well as a link to register.
