Pak One Health Alliance (POHA) is an active organization in the area of One Health promotion. Currently collaborating with renowned University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), University of Health Sciences (UHS) Lahore, Policy and Strategic Planning Unit (PSPU), Dept. of health Lahore for launch of several One Health activities. These organizations are going to organize a national seminar and also sign a long term MoU in One Health domain for One Health advancement, on the occasion ‘One Health Day, that is 3rd Nov, 2021.

One key aspect of One Health is the understanding that animals can serve as early warning signs of potential human illness, so studying and tracking diseases in animals can help prevent illnesses and disease outbreaks in people.
As the interdependence and connectedness between humans, animals and the environment continue to increase, embracing the One Health approach is the most effective and efficient way to protect public health. So a seminar is planned on one health day at NIH Pakistan with the stakeholders and participation of different sectors.
