Strengthening One Health Competencies through Academic Integration and Student Collaboration

One Health: A University-Wide Learning Initiative introduces a 45-hour One Health course comprising lectures and tutorial sessions as part of the Master of Public Health (MPH) curriculum and as a University Elective Program for undergraduate students from other disciplines.

This initiative enables students from diverse academic backgrounds to voluntarily enroll and collaborate in understanding the interconnectedness of human, animal and environmental health.

2023 Gregory D. Memorial One Health Scholarship Awarded

An annual $5,000 USD Dr. Gregory D. Bossart Memorial One Health Scholarship, funded by the Georgia Aquarium (Atlanta, Georgia, USA) and administered by the One Health Commission (Apex, North Carolina, USA) is presented to a graduate student in wildlife biology, epidemiology, veterinary, medical, public health, basic or social sciences or other program focusing on the interconnection between people, animals, plants, and their shared environment using a One Health framework. 2nd One Health Week at City University of Hong Kong 2023 - Theme: 'One Health in Actoin'

This is the second year that the City University of Hong Kong, through the Centre for One Health Research and Policy Advice (OHRP, Jockey Club College of Veterinary Medicine and Life Sciences), has joined the International One Health Day celebrations. This time, we have prepared a one-week-long event to take place at the University's main campus between the 31st of October and the 3rd of November.
