The management of the "One Health - Academician Nicolae Manolescu Strunga" Association informs you that the international "One Health" day is celebrated annually on November 3rd. This global event aims to draw attention to the need for an interdisciplinary approach to health to enhance human, animal and environmental health and well-being.

This is a two hour seminar, organised jointly by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and the Norwegian Veterinary Institute, but open for registration to any interested person or institution in Norway. We will have five 15-20 minute presentations on very different research aspects - from zoonotic pathogens (bacteria, parasites) to non-zoonotic pathogens (the effect of African Swine fever on human health in Sweden after the first findings there), to plant health, to comparative medicine.
