Guardian Watch Worldwide (GWW) is a free, open-access One Health surveillance platform run by One Health Analytics. Every day it gathers official animal, human and environmental disease reports from public sources worldwide and publishes a concise brief that links animal outbreaks to human health risks. By putting veterinary and public health signals side by side, GWW shows why One Health matters: many outbreaks are seen in animals before people. On One Health Day, GWW invites veterinarians, public health workers and students to read the brief and subscribe, free of charge.

Nashville Zoo will host a One Health Day event on November 4th free with zoo admission. This event celebrates the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. Explore interactive exhibits, meet experts from state and federal agencies, universities, and non-profits, and learn how we can work together to protect the health of people, animals, and our planet.

Come spend a fun-filled day at the Nashville Zoo exploring how humans, animals, and the environment are all connected! Meet incredible animals and discover how our health and theirs are closely linked. For this year’s One Health Day celebration, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health will be partnering with the Nashville Zoo and our academic, state, and federal partners to come together and promote what One Health means. We hope to bring together experts and the public to promote the health, growth, and interconnectedness of people, animals, and the environment.
