Nashville Zoo will host a One Health Day event on November 4th free with zoo admission. This event celebrates the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. Explore interactive exhibits, meet experts from state and federal agencies, universities, and non-profits, and learn how we can work together to protect the health of people, animals, and our planet.

Come spend a fun-filled day at the Nashville Zoo exploring how humans, animals, and the environment are all connected! Meet incredible animals and discover how our health and theirs are closely linked. For this year’s One Health Day celebration, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and the Department of Health will be partnering with the Nashville Zoo and our academic, state, and federal partners to come together and promote what One Health means. We hope to bring together experts and the public to promote the health, growth, and interconnectedness of people, animals, and the environment.

Hosted by the Oklahoma State University (OSU) College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim. This hybrid online and in-person veterinary continuing education conference begins with a One Health presentation titled 'Foundations of One Health: Full Scope of the Concept and a Brief Overview of the Global Movement' presented by Dr. Cheryl Stroud. This One Health lecture is presented annually at this conference by the OSU CVM Class of 1963.
