Exploring One Health

In today’s interconnected world, the health of our environment, animals, and humans is intricately linked. The One Health approach acknowledge this interdependence and seeks to foster a holistic understanding of health, encompassing not only human well-being but also the well-being of animals and the environment. One Health warriors will be hosting an event about one health approach. The event comprises of two parts: One Health quiz challenge; the purpose of the quiz is to test people’s knowledge and understanding of the One Health concept. The second part will be a coffee talk where panelists will address certain questions about One Health based on the quiz challenge and lead discussions on various aspects of the One Health concept, including the 1. interconnectedness of ecosystems: Discover how the health of ecosystems impacts human and animal well-being and why preserving biodiversity is critical. 2, Zoonotic Diseases: Explore the origins and management of diseases that can pass between animals and humans, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. This event is designed to inform, inspire, and foster a sense of community among individuals who share a passion for the holistic well-being of our planet.
