Louisiana One Health in Action (LOHA) is excited to announce the 2nd annual Walk & Wag for One Health 5K, 3k Fun Run, and Educational Event. The event will be held at The Grove at Heritage Square in Sulphur on October 30, 2021 in celebration of the International One Health Day. The 5K will be a timed competitive race, and the 3k Fun Run will be open to both people and their dogs to celebrate One Health Day! It is an effort to highlight the human/animal bond and to raise awareness of One Health- the interrelationship of Human, Animal, and Environmental Health.

This is Delaware Valley University's third annual One Health Week celebration. It is filled with a variety of student activities and webinars that are open to students and the public alike. The week culminates in a virtual Mock Disease Outbreak response by students, faculty in partnership with USDA.

The National Institute for Animal Agriculture will host the 11th Annual Antibiotic Symposium in Kansas City, Missouri (or virtually) from November 2-4, 2021. This year’s theme for Symposium is One Health, One Voice: Leveraging Future Opportunities to Enhance Collaboration.
