This is the seventh conference being held jointly by the Jamaica Veterinary Medical Association and the Caribbean College of Family Physicians Jamaica Chapter, now held during One Health Awareness Month. This year the conference will focus on climate change issues, plant health, and natural disaster (earthquake) concerns (Day 1, January 18, 4 - 8 PM EST), the One Health approach to pandemic preparedness and infectious disease management, and mental health (Day 2 January 19, 3 PM -7 PM EST).

The Fukuoka One Health International Forum has been held annually since FY2020 with the aim of sharing research results with the world and addressing various challenges, such as zoonotic diseases, through the One Health approach. The forum brings together top researchers from various fields, including medical, veterinary, and environmental sectors, to find One Health solutions.
